Roshan Patel
Roshan Patel is a talented media producer with a strong science background. He graduated with a BS in Biology from The College of William and Mary and later pursued an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking at Montana State University-Bozeman. Roshan is currently working as a media producer at Smithsonian National Zoological Park, where he showcases his ability to captivate and engage his audience with his passion for capturing animals and wildlife through his lens.
Prior to joining the Smithsonian, Roshan co-founded Nestbox Collective, LLC, a production company specializing in environmental storytelling. He also worked with Pride, providing video content for various festivals, concerts, and campaigns. Outside of his video production endeavors, Roshan has worked in various capacities within the conservation space, including, as a Vista for Petersburg Partnerships at College of William and Mary, education intern for the National Environmental Education Foundation, and intern for the Applied Biological Sciences at Conservation International.
With a strong background in science and filmmaking, Roshan is an ideal candidate for any media or conservation-related project, which shows in his diverse work experience.
