Ivan Cui

Ivan Cui is an experienced data scientist with an expertise in utilizing statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to extract business insights from data. He has worked in various industries such as biotech, pharma, and electronic consumer data, gaining extensive experience with data governance, data visualization, and statistical learning.

Ivan holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Data Science from the University of Washington, where he graduated with honors. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Statistical Economics from the University of California in San Diego.

He has worked as a Data Scientist II at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and as a Data Scientist at Bayer where he worked in Biotech Data Science Digitalization and Engineering & Technology. He also served as a Data Scientist on the Siri Platform at Apple and as a PTD Portfolio and Project Management Data Analyst at Genentech. Ivan has previously held positions as a Development Engineer and a Process Development Engineer at Illumina and Arcturus Therapeutics, respectively.

Ivan is a member of both the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the American Statistical Association (AAA). He is proficient in various programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and Tableau, and is skilled in big data analytics, including Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, and MLlib.
