I joined to be in charge of iOS development tools, build system (iOS and MacOSX). My first task was to design and lead implementation of the tools to support development for the iPad. I then focused on the iOS developer experience leading a cross functional effort to define policies and technologies for development devices and apps ingestion in the AppStore.

While leading the build system team, I managed the internal transition from Xcode 3 to Xcode 4 while leading the Xcode 4 support for iOS development.

In February 2012, I became a manager for the UIKit framework and the iOS Simulator. I went through the iOS 6 release and the UI redesign for iOS 7.

After September 2013, I was in charge of the Data Access, Enterprise and Simulator teams. We designed and shipped CloudKit (a new framework to manage encrypted data in the Cloud) and iCloud Document for iOS, macOS and Windows.

I took a year off to spend time with my family after 15 years as CEO for startup companies. I went back to code and worked with the Lorienne team on vector map display  for mobile devices, helped a few start-ups to get things rolling but most of all had a blast training with Cung Le and his fighters team at USH headquarters in San Jose.

I joined Oracle through Hyperion Solutions’ acquisition. While reporting to the SVP for the Enterprise Performance Management division, I lead the development of innovative data display solutions for desktop and mobile devices.

Beatware started as the lead software house for the Be Operation System. In a couple of years, we shipped a full office suite (Writer and Sum-It), an incredibly fast and a powerful email client (Mail-It) and an animation tool for Web designers (e-Picture). Beatware was awarded two MacWorld Best of Show Awards as a graphic application. In 2001, In 2001, Beatware released MobileDesigner and worked with companies like Samsung, Nokia and Sony to create highly interactive and animated user experiences for mobile devices and game consoles. Beatware was acquired by Hyperion Solutions in 2006.
