Managing changes around the Product BSL Praktijkinfo.nl based on the strategic report I wrote as a consultant for BSL in 2012. What I learned most on this project was to link new e-health development to the thinking and working processes of general practioners, physio's and other care givers using the Praktijkinfo.nl platform. Also helped on the design and ict , internal management, sales and opportunities internationally for this product. On the way I got to know the interesting challenges and opportunities of the medical publishing business  in there digital transformation.

This consultancy project was to investigate the internal and external strategy for the product BSL Praktijkinfo.nl. Praktijkinfo.nl offers an e-health plafrom for 1st line caregivers (mainly general practioners). It was an interesting project with very positive outcome that led to the advised changes being implemented in early 2013.

I newly developed the Independer Zorg website. We integrated patient reviews from the Zoekdokter.nl with existing data on healthcare quality from the company  Mediquest. Website went live on17th of january 2011. Consumers can compare caregivers, hospitals and clinics based on reviews and quality.
I learned a lot about the complex issues around quality measurements and was delighted to see that patient opinions through reviews really started to have influence on healthcare delivery and care givers.

The first rating and review website in Healthcare in the Netherlands started from idealism and no businessplan. I started and build Zoekdokter.nl from the deep felt conviction  that good communication and patient-experience is crucial in healthcare. This website gave patients the opportunity to give there opinion and for caregivers to learn what was important for patients and to improve on there skills. The reviews and data were later integrated into Independer Zorg.
