The NYC Fund for Girls and Young Women of Color (The Fund) is the first fund of its kind, focused exclusively on investing in and leveraging the strengths of girls and young women of color toward social change. PRC members assess potential grantee partners whose goals are aligned with The Fund's and to offer recommendations on which organizations to fund for game changing results. PRC members participate in selecting grantee partners by reviewing grant proposals, conducting site visits, and making funding recommendations to the members of The Fund.

- Conducted site visits and presented funding recommendations to 16 funders on behalf of organizations focused on leadership development for young women of color 
- Helped secure $50,000 in general operations funding for a nonprofit dedicated to reproductive/birth justice

The New American Leaders Project believes that democracy is stronger when everyone is represented and everyone participates. Unfortunately, the elected leadership of our country does not reflect our diversity. NALP is closing the representation gap by training New American community leaders to run for office, educating elected officials about progressive immigration policies and political system reform, and creating national awareness about the strengths and challenges of immigrant communities.

- Run national trainings and develop national pipeline of immigrant candidates 
- Organize logistics and flow for 11 “Ready to Lead” candidate trainings in CA, AZ, CO, NY, and MI
- Help organization exceed program goals, doubling 2011-2015 alumni run number in 2016 alone and achieving a 67% electoral win rate.
- Cultivate partner relationships with local CBO’s and national candidate organizations to administer resources, support and leadership opportunities for NALP’s 500+ alumni, research states’ electoral landscapes to gauge alumni needs 
- Lead candidate selection systems to identify high potential immigrant leaders who espouse strong movement principles 
-      Manage data analytics processes to track alumni demographics, alumni electoral races, and training strengths; identify new qualitative and quantitative metrics to showcase scope of NALP’s impact

- Support NALP’s national network of 450 immigrant elected officials
- Managed outreach, logistics and program for “New American Leadership Academy” in November 2016, a DC conference for 30 newly elected immigrants to build governance and power mapping skills and advance immigrant integration policies 
- Coordinated annual “Power and Policy” conferences for immigrant legislators at the White House 
- Manage digital policy-sharing platform and organize briefing calls and trainings for legislators

- Provide daily executive support to President and Founder
