Josh Newland is a versatile and skilled professional in the construction industry with experience in project management, product development, marketing, and data science. He graduated from Stanford University with a Master's degree in Construction Engineering & Management and studied Mechanical Engineering/ Business at the University of Central Florida. He started his career as a Project Engineer at XL Construction and has worked as an MEP Coordinator, Product Manager, and Sr. Manager of Enterprise Strategy at Procore Technologies, where he currently works as a Data Scientist with the machine learning/AI group. Along with his professional experience, he was the Bay Area Chapter Leader at The Society for Construction Solutions (SCS), along with the organizations of which he is a member. Josh is passionate about building and optimization and seeks to contribute to the construction industry's evolution through the potential of data and AI.
