Bay McLaughlin, a seasoned business leader and technology startup expert, has spent 15 years supporting startups. He served as a founding team member at Apple, where he led the global SMB channel and founded the company's first Entrepreneurship Evangelism channel. Under his leadership, his team grossed more than $350 million USD in sales and is still the number one team globally in Apple SMB's division.
McLaughlin has also founded or been involved in various business ventures, with equity positions in more than 250 companies across 38 countries. He has co-founded Brinc.io, a global venture accelerator platform that owns and operates 18 accelerator programs in nine countries, and is one of the top 10 largest early-stage venture capital firms in the world.
McLaughlin is focused on investing in 1,000 climate-conscious companies by 2026, and is actively seeking out climate-focused initiatives. He is currently based between San Francisco and Virginia Beach, VA, and contributes to the Boards of Brinc, Soundbrenner, SilentMode, and the non-profit entrepreneurship society, called EYES (Emerging Young Entrepreneurs Society).
McLaughlin has studied Marine Biology, Music, Film, Accounting, German, and International Business at various institutions, including Norfolk Academy, William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business, and KPMG Audit. He is a former Forbes contributor and public speaker at BetaBay. He lives by the principle of working on problems that need to be solved and supporting people that deserve to win.
