Bastijn van Daalen

Bastijn van Daalen, a highly-educated and experienced engineer, has a diverse blend of skills in the offshore engineering and construction industry. He studied both Civil Engineering and Offshore Engineering at Delft University of Technology and finished with a Masters of Science.

Bastijn has worked with various organizations throughout his career, including Boskalis, Heerema Marine Contractors, ECE Offshore, Our Oceans Challenge, and TU Delft. His roles have ranged from Package Engineer Pipelay, Structural Engineer, Engineer Subsea, and Graduate Intern, to Chairman of Het Gezelschap "Practische Studie" and Online Marketing Analyst at Oxyme.

With a special interest in sustainability and innovation, Bastijn has served on the Operational Board of Our Oceans Challenge, a non-profit organization that focuses on finding solutions to ocean-related problems. He uses his extensive education and experience to bring new ideas, technology, and practices to his work within the industry.
