Bastian Matthias

Bastian Matthias is an accomplished international logistics and operations expert with a passion for international public management and policy. He studied European Studies in Maastricht University, Contemporary Capitalism at International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam, and International Public Management and Policy at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He also earned his Abitur at Privates Gymnasium der Franziskanerinnen Nonnenwerth.

Matthias has an extensive professional background in the logistics and operations industry, having held senior logistics and operations management positions at Forto and Movinga. In addition, he has experience in sales management, project management, and coordination from his previous roles at Heimat Berlin, the German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, and Sprachcaffe/GEOS Languages Plus.

Currently, as an expert lead at Forto, Matthias is responsible for debt and project management. He has previously served as the regional lead and senior logistics and operations manager at Forto. Matthias's industry knowledge combined with his academic background in international public management and policy make him a valuable asset in the global trade environment.
