Bastiaan Braber

Bastiaan den Braber is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with a strong background in technology, impact investment, and venture advisory.

He is the Founder of Zambezi Partners and currently holds key positions at StarNews Mobile and the Spatial Web Foundation, where he contributes to the development of spatial internet standards.

As a Venture Advisor at LUMO Labs, Bastiaan invests in startups focusing on emerging technologies with social impact applications.

Previously, he co-founded SAMO, a startup driving revenue in virtual and augmented reality for the music industry.

With over 15 years of experience as a management consultant, Bastiaan has held leadership roles in Digital Advisory practices across Europe, Middle East, and North America, advising senior executives on digital strategy, innovation, and transformation.

His educational background includes a Strategy Implementation certificate from Wharton, a MSc. in General Management from Nyenrode University, and a BSc. in Commercial Engineering and Management from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Apart from his professional engagements, Bastiaan is an active speaker, panel member, guest lecturer at UCLA Center for Music Innovation, mentor at startup events, advisor to startups, and volunteer supporting (formerly) incarcerated individuals to build businesses.

He also contributes as a volunteer production team member for Remarkable Men's Practice Mountain weekends, showcasing his dedication to community involvement and impact.
