Bassel Atallah is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of SSENSE, a global fashion platform based in Montreal, Canada. He has been with the company since its founding in 2003, alongside his brothers Rami and Firas Atallah. Bassel was born in Damascus, Syria, and emigrated to Montreal as a teenager with his family. He pursued a French Baccalaureate in Sciences and Mathematics at Collège Stanislas (1997–2002) and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University (2002–2006). His engineering background complements his role at SSENSE, where he has been instrumental in scaling the business.134
