Basawaraj Savalagi began his career at Deloitte Consulting, working as an SAP analyst specializing in the Billing module, specifically in the Utilities sector. Transitioning to a social enterprise focusing on off-grid solar systems in rural India, he navigated through various software systems and paper-based processes. During this time, he explored Free and Open-source Software (FOSS) ERPs and discovered ERPNext. Establishing a community of ERPNext users in Bangalore, he eventually became the CEO of the ERPNext Foundation and later moved on to Frappe Technologies as a Lead Consultant. Presently, he spearheads the introduction of ERPNext in Europe, collaborating with enterprises and partners in the region.
