Bart H.

Bart Hellinga is a professional with a background in communication, having studied at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and completing his studies in 2008. He furthered his education by obtaining a post-doctoral qualification in Digital Marketing & Leadership (RDM) in 2017.

After his studies, Bart worked in account management at Scholten Awater and Clipit but found his true passion in communication and marketing. In 2014, he joined Agrifirm where he actively contributed his ideas in e-commerce, social media, website development, email marketing, and app innovations. Subsequently, in early 2017, Bart established his own online marketing agency, Barixel, dedicated to assisting companies with their digital marketing strategies. Concurrently, since 2018, he has taken on the role of Manager Webshop at AgruniekRijnvallei (AR), focusing on creating optimal ordering platforms for Dutch farmers. Additionally, Bart continues to engage in freelance work through Barixel for various clients.

In his leisure time, Bart indulges in his passion for travel. He has explored various destinations such as Asia, Peru, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, French Polynesia, and Morocco. Despite his full-time commitments, he still enjoys travelling. Another significant hobby of Bart's is sports, particularly running and cycling. Having participated in three marathons post-study, he transitioned to triathlons in 2017, successfully completing the Half IRONMAN 70.3 in Luxembourg on June 18 and the full IRONMAN in Maastricht on August 6, involving swimming, cycling, and running. The Maastricht competition, with a total distance of 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and 42.2 km running, stands as the longest and most challenging race Bart has undertaken, culminating in an impressive 11 hours and 34 minutes finish time.
