Barry Stevenson

Barry Stevenson is an accomplished EMMY® Award-winning video producer and documentary filmmaker who founded Outside Adventure Media in 2012, focusing on video production, marketing, and advertising for outdoor recreation companies, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

With a strong background in video production, marketing communications, and advertising, Barry Stevenson offers a wide range of skills and experience in strategic and tactical planning, budget management, project management, public relations, media buying, customer relations, creative and business writing, and product development.

Barry holds a BA in Technical Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Colorado State University, as well as studies in Technical Media/Management, Advertising, and Public Relations at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

His previous professional roles include Retail Sales Associate at REI, Account Executive at Dallas Morning News, Director of Marketing at Share Plus Federal Bank, Director of Communications/Partner at ExpandMail.com, Account Executive at Bedford Advertising, On-Air Promotion Manager at NBC 5/KXAS, and Senior Promotion Producer at FOX 4/KDFW.
