Barry Silbert is a prominent figure in the bitcoin and blockchain industry, serving as the Founder and CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG), a global enterprise that focuses on building, supporting, and investing in companies worldwide.

As a trailblazer in bitcoin investing, Barry has been actively involved in the industry since 2012, making him one of the earliest and most engaged investors.

In 2015, he took a significant step by establishing DCG, which has grown to become one of the leading investors in the field, backing numerous companies globally. DCG's portfolio includes Grayscale Investments, Foundry, and Luno, while also engaging in direct investments in digital currencies and assets.

Before his success with DCG, Barry Silbert founded and led SecondMarket, a technology company that was later acquired by Nasdaq. His entrepreneurial achievements have been recognized with awards such as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and Crain's, along with being featured in Fortune's prestigious '40 under 40' list.
