Throughout his career, Barret has held positions such as Deputy Program Manager, Advanced Concepts at Blue Origin, Nuclear Submarine Officer (Lieutenant Commander) at the US Navy, Senior Manager, Program Management at Blue Origin, NASA Human Exploration Research Analogue (HERA) Crew Member at NASA, Acting Principal Technologist for Advanced Manufacturing and Materials at Blue Origin, Research Fellow with the NASA Space Launch System Team at Boeing, Co-Founder and COO at Lunar Station Corp, and Research Assistant & Data Analyst at Gemini Observatory.
