Barmey Ung

Barmey Ung is a multi-talented individual with a diverse background in music, education, and Covid operations management.

With a Master's Degree in Performance and Composition from California Institute of the Arts, a certificate in music production, mixing, mastering, and game audio implementation from Berklee College of Music, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from the University of Miami, Barmey has a strong educational foundation in the arts.

Barmey has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as being the Covid Lead at Pasadena City College, Covid Compliance Manager at Celebration Theatre and Music Theatre Wichita, Deputy Site Manager at CORE, and Program Associate at CORE.

His experience also includes positions as an Enrichment Instructor at Youth Policy Institute, Guitarist at Cage and Aquarium Productions, Arts Administration Assistant at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Music Teacher at multiple institutions, and Director of Operations at the Society Of Composers at the University of Miami.

During the Covid pandemic, Barmey played a crucial role in managing operations at a mass vaccination site, where they reached a peak of vaccinating 2500 people per day. This experience led to his current role overseeing all Covid operations at Pasadena City College.
