Barbara Schulte is a renowned professor who specializes in comparative education, Sinology, and history. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Education, Sinology, and History from Humboldt University of Berlin, where she also acted as a professor. Schulte's areas of research expertise include education as a national and global instrument of governance, education in developing contexts, education, innovation and new technologies, and education, migration, and ethnic minorities. She has studied at the Nanjing University and Nanjing Normal University, where she specialized in Chinese Linguistics and Sinology.
