Barbara Schulte
Barbara Schulte is a renowned professor who specializes in comparative education, Sinology, and history. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Education, Sinology, and History from Humboldt University of Berlin, where she also acted as a professor. Schulte's areas of research expertise include education as a national and global instrument of governance, education in developing contexts, education, innovation and new technologies, and education, migration, and ethnic minorities. She has studied at the Nanjing University and Nanjing Normal University, where she specialized in Chinese Linguistics and Sinology. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Sinology, English, German Studies, and Education from the University of Cologne. She is an associate professor at the University of Vienna, formerly an associate professor at Lund University and Nordic Institute of Asian Studies, and a former research fellow at Humboldt University of Berlin. Schulte has also lectured in German at Nanjing University and served as an assistant lecturer in Comparative and International Education at Humboldt University Berlin.
