Barbara Mahanes

Barbara Mahanes, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the DC Commercial Real Estate market, has recently started her own business, Studio AD LLC, as she transitions into semi-retirement.

Barbara's approach to each project involves in-depth evaluation and research of client requirements, integrating aspects such as client branding, culture, code restraints, schedule, and budget.

Her educational background includes studying Ceramic Arts and Ceramics at Eastern Market Pottery Studio, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, and further studies in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics at Corcoran College of Art and Design.

Currently, Barbara holds the position of Principal Interior Designer at Studio AD LLC, the business she founded, and previously served as the Principal Interior Designer at Architecture + Design Associates, Inc.

With a wealth of experience and a passion for design, Barbara Mahanes continues to bring her expertise to the forefront of the industry through her new venture.
