Barbara Labate

Barbara Labate is an Italian entrepreneur and business executive, born around 1978. She is notably the founder and CEO of ReStore, a prominent e-commerce platform for grocery shopping in Italy. Labate also co-founded Risparmio Super, Italy's first comparative-pricing website, which she established in 2010. This platform has gained significant traction, covering 10,000 stores and attracting over 300,000 users as of 2015. Her educational background includes a degree in political science from the University of Messina and a master's degree from Columbia University, obtained through a Fulbright Scholarship.13

In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Labate is a partner at EPIK, a startup focused on brand storytelling through entertainment. At EPIK, she is involved in developing new digital projects and e-commerce initiatives.24 Her contributions to the tech community have been recognized, as she was named one of the 50 most inspiring women in European technology by Inspiring Fifty in 2015.1
