Bahman Nedjat-Shokouhi is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field of Gastroenterology. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Medicine and Immunology, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Neuroscience with 1st Class Honours, and a MB BS in Medicine, all from UCL. Additionally, he studied MRCP (UK) Gastroenterology and MRCP at the Royal College of Physicians, London.
With a proven track record in the healthcare industry, Bahman has held various significant roles throughout his career. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Medefer, demonstrating his leadership and entrepreneurial skills. He has previously worked as the GastroSCE Course Director at GastroSCE, Gastroenterology Outpatient Transformation Lead at Whittington Health, and as a Gastroenterology Consultant at Whittington Health.
Moreover, Bahman Nedjat-Shokouhi has contributed to the field through his research and academic pursuits. He has served as an MRC Senior Clinical Research Training Fellow at UCL and as the BSG IBD Committee Trainee Representative at the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG). His clinical experience includes roles such as Gastroenterology Registrar at various institutions including West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, St. Mark's Hospital Foundation, The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
