Jayla J Wilkerson is a highly educated and experienced attorney and advisor with a strong background in criminology and law. She holds a Master of Science in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Law School. Jayla also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a perfect 4.0 GPA from the University of North Texas.

Throughout her career, Jayla has worked in a variety of legal settings, including as an Attorney Advisor at the US Small Business Administration, an Assistant City Attorney - Community Prosecutor of Environmental Laws at the City of Dallas, and as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington. She has also served as an Assistant District Attorney at Dallas County District Attorney's Office and completed internships at the District Attorney's Office and State of Texas Office of the Solicitor General.

Outside of the legal world, Jayla has owned a service-oriented business, worked as a music director at Youth Radio Network, and as a service technician with Able Sheetmetal and Air Conditioning.
