Brent D. Williams is a highly accomplished academic and business leader in the field of Supply Chain Management. He currently serves as the Associate Dean for Executive Education and Outreach and Garrison Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. With over two decades of experience in academia, he has previously held faculty positions at Texas Christian University and Auburn University.

Dr. Williams has a strong academic background, having obtained a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from the University of Arkansas. His research has been published in numerous reputable business journals such as the Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, and Journal of Business Logistics. His research primarily focuses on designing and developing supply chain strategies for retail organizations to meet the changing demands of the marketplace.

In his current leadership roles at the Walton College of Business, Williams has led several units such as Executive Education and outreach centers, which connect Walton College with the business community. He also led the foundation of the McMillon Innovation Studio and Walton College at 2nd & Main in Downtown Little Rock. Prior to this, he served as the Chair of the Department of Supply Chain Management.

Williams has a comprehensive academic background, having studied Ph.D. in Logistics, Master of Science in Transportation & Logistics Management (MTLM), and B.A. in Economics.
