Jeffrey Leigh Sedgwick is an accomplished association executive with a rich background in public higher education, criminal justice policy development, management, and evaluation. With extensive experience in federal government management of research and statistics agencies, as well as globalization and democratization, Jeffrey has honed his expertise in non-profit leadership, team building, performance management, program analysis, and evaluation. His personal strengths include strategic planning, executing, and influencing.

As a former Visiting Instructor at the University of Richmond - Jepson School of Leadership Studies and Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Jeffrey has a keen interest in using expert insight and evidence-driven strategies to improve organizational performance for both start-ups and mature organizations wishing to rise to the next level of success.

A graduate of the University of Virginia with an MA in Public Administration and Public Policy and a Ph.D. in Government and Public Affairs, Jeffrey has also studied Political Science at Kenyon College.

With an impressive list of organizations for which he has worked, including the US Department of Justice as Deputy Director, Bureau of Justice Statistics, Director, Bureau of Justice Statistics, and Assistant Attorney General - Office of Justice Programs, the US Department of State as Project Co-Director, and The John Templeton Foundation as Project Director and Co-Director, Jeffrey's specialties include Executive Board development, adult learning, mentoring, instructional technology, and change management.
