Laurie Senders is a California-based entrepreneur, artist, therapist, and educator. With a background in clinical psychology, Laurie has spent her career working in coaching and therapy, using her experience to launch Passionate Art from the Heart. Passionate Art from the Heart is a program designed to provide art-making experiences as a form of therapeutic release. Laurie also volunteers at OHSU and the Dougy Center, working with sick infants and children dealing with loss.

As an artist, Laurie is entirely self-taught, working primarily with acrylic paints. Her style is heavily influenced by abstract expressionism, and she views painting as a means to find joy and personal insight.
