Tim Porter is a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant and technology expert. He is a Manager in the Risk Advisory Services division at Pease & Associates, where he specializes in executing SOC 1/SOC 2/SOC 3, HITRUST, IT SOX, and IT general computing controls. With his vast experience, he has advised numerous clients from different industries, including the insurance, financial, health care, legal, and high tech sectors.

Mr. Porter attended Miami University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He also attended Chagrin Falls. Before joining Pease & Associates, he was a Senior Associate at Skoda Minotti, where he worked in various accounting capacities, including staff accountant and accounting associate.

He went on to work as a Cyber & IT Risk Advisory Senior Associate and Manager, Cyber & Risk Advisory Services at Marcum LLP. During his tenure, he honed his expertise in auditing clients' internal controls, advising them on how to leverage these controls to generate efficiencies, and ensuring clients comply with regulatory and audit requirements.

Mr. Porter is highly skilled in executing attestation engagements, evaluating risk management processes, testing operational and compliance controls, and drafting audit reports that focus on an organization's internal controls. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Cyber Security Foundations Practitioner, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
