Veikka Pirhonen is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience developing and promoting sustainable solutions. He has an educational background in Industrial Management, Energy, and Mathematics. Pirhonen has held various managerial and leadership positions during his career, including Head of Virtual Power Plant Solutions at Siemens and CEO at VIBECO - Virtual Buildings Ecosystem Oy. He has contributed to the development of numerous technologies and digitalization solutions targeting a wide range of sectors, from E-Cars and Mobility as a Service to Flexibility Solutions. Additionally, he is currently heading an energy spearhead project of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, aimed at creating a new ecosystem for smart infrastructure and energy systems.
