Jain Thomas, a recent graduate with First Class Honours in BCom Accounting from the University of Wollongong, Dubai, is determined to attain ACCA affiliate certification by mid-2021. With a focus on auditing and assurance, international taxation and financial statement analysis, Jain brings strong data entry and invoice processing skills, alongside task prioritization abilities that enable her to work well under pressure.

Having gained experience at several leading organizations, Jain possesses a range of competencies, including the preparation of financial statements, financial statement analysis, budgeting and accounts reviews, and strong command of Microsoft Suite. Additionally, she is proficient in Sage 50cloud Accounts, Xero, and Zoho Books.

Jain is a quick learner, which has earned her a place amongst the few who passed 2 ACCA Professional Papers in September 2020 sitting. She has also maintained an average GPA of 3.86 in her university stint and scored above 90% in several Finance and Accounting modules. Jain has also received the UOWD Academic Merit Scholarship until graduation and the Middle East Student Achievement Award.

Jain’s professional experience includes working as a Finance and Professional Services Intern at Bright Network, an Audit Virtual Intern at Grant Thornton LLP, a Finance/Accounting Intern at Seafood Souq and an Accounting Intern at Synkers.
