Howard Cotton is a highly experienced litigator with over 30 years of experience in major commercial litigation. He has served as lead counsel in trials and appeals in state and federal courts in New York and throughout the U.S. and in numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings. Cotton has represented leading financial institutions, such as investment banks, hedge funds, and public and private companies and their senior officers in diverse areas like real estate litigation, management and hospitality companies, and banks. He has held senior leadership roles at leading law firms like Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and currently heads the Litigation Group as a Partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP. He studied Political Science and Government and graduated with AB in Government from Cornell University. Later he earned a degree of Doctor of Law (JD) from Fordham University School of Law.
