Rafael Machado Freire
Rafael Freire is a lawyer with a background in labor law and a keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.
He has pursued various educational opportunities to enhance his expertise, including a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Candido Mendes, post-graduate studies in Sports Law from the same institution, and extension courses in Compliance from PUC-Rio, as well as Sports Law from Universidade Salgado de Oliveira.
Rafael has also completed a post-graduate program in Labor Law and Process from Universidade Candido Mendes.
Professionally, he is a registered lawyer at OAB/RJ and has held various roles in legal and disciplinary bodies within the sports community, such as being the former President of the 1st Disciplinary Commission of the Superior Court of Sports Justice - STJDDE at the Brazilian Confederation of Electronic Sports, auditor at the Superior Court of Motorcycle Sports Justice - STJD, auditor at the Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation, auditor at the Sports Justice Tribunal of 7-a-side Football in Rio de Janeiro - TJDF7 RJ.
Rafael also has experience working as a legal intern at the Public Defender's Office - DPU, as a Conciliator at the Special Criminal Court and Mediation Court of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and as the President of an Electoral Section at the Superior Electoral Court.
His commitment to professional growth is evident through his active participation in workshops, lectures, congresses, symposiums, and courses related to law, showcasing his dedication to interdisciplinary knowledge in his field.
