Maricel Saenz is a biotech entrepreneur with a passion for creating sustainable food solutions. With a Bachelor's in Commerce from the University of British Columbia, she has also studied entrepreneurship and business scaling at Stanford University and the Global Solutions Program at Singularity University. Maricel has taken on various roles throughout her career, including founder and CEO of Compound Foods, co-founder and CEO of Nextbiotics, and consultant at Monitor Deloitte. She has also served as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and as a business lead at Arc Initiative.
