Vinicius B. Bastos, PhD is a distinguished professional who has a solid background in Control Engineering and Automation. He attained his Bachelor's degree from the esteemed University of the State of Amazonas, where he had practical experience working with image processing in the area of Magnetic Resonance. Later, he extended his educational journey and accomplished his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas. During his time there, he built a 3D simulation environment for applications involving visual odometry in mobile robotics. Currently pursuing his PhD, his research interests include algorithm evaluation for image navigation in virtual reality environments.

Vinicius has extensive industrial experience and has worked for various organizations, including DIGITRON DA AMAZONIA INDUSTRIA E COMERCIO.S/A as an NPI Analyst, Acta Visio, where he served as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and presently, he is the CTO at Acta Robotics. He has previously worked as a Visiting Researcher at Linköping University and as a professor at Centro Universitário de Jaguariúna - UniFAJ. Along with his academic interests, Vinicius has pursued studies in foreign languages, including Japanese, which he undertook at Shimizu and Nippaku, and English, which he studied at Wizard and Fisk-Escola de Idiomas.

Throughout his career, Vinicius has honed his skills in project management, control systems engineering, simulation, and robotics. He is result-oriented and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Outside of work, he enjoys discovering new technologies, listening to music, and reading books.
