Montreale Jones
Montreale Jones is an accomplished architect with an impressive educational background. He obtained a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky and also completed a Master of Science in Urban and Environmental Design, City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the same university. He also holds an Associate of Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Certificate from Hopkinsville Community College.
He has been actively involved in various organizations throughout his career. He served as the National Student Representative at the National Organization for Minority Architects (NOMA) and held several positions at the Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) organization, including MANRRS National Parliamentarian, National Graduate Parliamentarian, and Historian & Newsletter Editor-in-Chief. Montreale also served as the President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and the Freedom-by-Design Chair. Furthermore, he was the former Alumni Ambassador at the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, College of Design Senator at University of Kentucky Student Government Association, and Student Fee Allocation Committee at the University of Kentucky Student Government Association, to name a few.
Montreale has expertise in architecture, urban and environmental design, community planning, and computer-aided design. He is interested in advocating for minority architects and promoting diversity in his profession.
