Meet Davey Slenders, a data scientist with a passion for solving complex problems by analyzing data and employing statistical models. With a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Aarde en Economie (Earth and Economics) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Davey has a strong academic background. He has also studied at the Tinbergen Institute. Davey's expertise lies in analyzing and solving economic and environmental issues. He currently works at the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax and Customs Administration) in the Data & Analytics division as a Data Scientist, using data analysis, business intelligence tools, and statistical models to modernize the organization.

Before joining the Belastingdienst, Davey served as a teaching assistant at Erasmus University Rotterdam and as a student assistant at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU. He enjoys analyzing and solving complex problems and using data analysis to make evidence-based decisions.
