Troy Ross is the president of TRM Public Affairs.  He is a seasoned government relations executive with extensive experience in regulatory and operational issues related to the gaming industry in Canada.

Client services available through TRM include public affairs and government relations counsel, stakeholder relations, issue and crisis management, regulatory advice, communications strategy, public engagement and strategic procurement services.

Troy previously held the position of Vice President and National Director of Gaming at Hill & Knowlton, where he created Canada’s first national public affairs and corporate communications practice specializing in the growing gaming industry. 

Prior to joining Hill & Knowlton in 2004 Troy was the manager of the Policy and Sector Liaison Division for the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, where he played a key role in crafting the current regulatory and licensing framework governing the gaming industry. 

Before joining the Commission Troy was a political staffer for the Ontario government in Toronto. During his tenure he served as the senior policy and legislative advisor to several cabinet ministers including the Solicitor General, the Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations and the Minister of Community and Social Services.
