David Bullock is a highly experienced senior communications expert with over 15 years in editorial and management roles spanning print, web and app production. With exceptional news judgement and editing skills, Mr. Bullock has established himself as an outstanding editor and a prominent figure in the UK media industry. He is a former Deputy Night Editor at News UK's The Sun, where he also held key posts including Tablet Editor, Assistant Night Editor, and News Sub-Editor.
A graduate of Cardiff University with a PgDip in Newspaper Journalism, Mr. Bullock holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Bristol University and a Level 3 NVQ in Supervisory Management from Oxford Brookes University. He completed his secondary education at Dr Challoner's Grammar School and Nower Hill High School where he obtained A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Mr. Bullock has held several leadership roles in the media industry, including his current position as Director at RHIZOME MEDIA, a strategic communications consultancy he co-founded in 2013. Before that, he was Partner and co-founder at Heads&Tails and served as PR and Media Consultant at Freelance. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bullock worked as Back Bench and News Sub-Editor at the Western Daily Press, where he honed his skills as an editor and news writer.
His experience in communications, editing, and management make him a subject matter expert qualified to advise clients and organizations on the best practices in reputation management, messaging strategy, and crisis communications.
