E.A. Casey
E.A. Casey is an accomplished program manager and advisor with extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies to combat isolation and loneliness among vulnerable older adults. As a Program Manager at AARP Foundation, Casey has been instrumental in leading a range of initiatives to address isolation at individual, community, societal, and systems levels. With a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University, Casey is well-versed in project planning and management, program evaluation, policy analysis and research, strategic planning, grants management, collaborative leadership, resource management, staff supervision/development, and database management.
Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Catholic University, Casey has subject matter expertise in aging and healthy aging, social determinants of health, social connectedness, and social isolation and loneliness. Casey's exceptional skills in human-centered design have enabled the creation of initiatives that address isolation through technology training programs, community development, and collective impact. Casey now leads AARP Foundation's Connect2Affect initiative to elevate awareness of isolation as a critical public health issue.
