Mariana Gurghis is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in economics, finance, and cybernetics. She holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and has completed various professional enrichment courses and seminars in macroeconomic forecasting, DSGE models, and more. Mariana has a Bachelor's Degree in both Accounting and Finance, as well as Cybernetics and Economic Informatics, both obtained with honors. She has also participated in programs such as Erasmus Mundus at Universidad de Deusto and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
With a rich organizational history, Mariana Gurghis has held positions such as Business Analyst at Endava, General Manager at Amarela, Data research officer at UNDP Moldova, and Market Risk Analyst at BC Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe Generale SA. She has also worked as an Economist at the National Bank of Moldova and as a University Lecturer at various institutions, including Joint programs like Keiser University and Moldova State University, and State University of Moldova.
