Mike Sherbakov is a seasoned startup advisor, impact investor, and community builder with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as the General Partner at The Veteran Fund, a pre-seed venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley, Mike is also the Managing Director of the Founder Institute in San Diego, the world's largest early-stage startup accelerator.

As CEO of Greatness Ventures, Mike has successfully led the business accelerator, which boasts thousands of investor members and a portfolio of hundreds of impactful companies. He also heads the venture philanthropy arm of the organization, which has been building homes in underdeveloped communities since 2014 and organizes impact trips for the community to participate in.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Mike has founded three startups in the past and played a pivotal role in growing two companies from scratch to valuations exceeding $20 million. Additionally, he has provided consultancy services to renowned brands like Fitbit, lululemon athletica, Equinox, and Qualcomm, leveraging his expertise in brand strategy and ambassadorship.

Prior to his impressive career in the startup and investment world, Mike served as a United States Marine, demonstrating his commitment to service and discipline. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with Magna Cum Laude honors from San Diego State University, further solidifying his foundation in the field.
