Narayanan Shankar is a seasoned IT leader with extensive experience in strategy, solution definition, program management, business development, consulting, and delivery management. As the Vice President of Infosys, Shankar is currently responsible for IT delivery and practice management, program and quality oversight for strategic programs, and business development. With a focus on IT strategy, business alignment, and execution excellence, he advises clients and internal Infosys teams on next-gen outsourcing and service delivery practices.

Shankar holds an MBA in Systems & Operations from Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM) and a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Salem. Throughout his career, he has worked with CxOs and senior client leadership on strategic IT management, business IT alignment, maximizing IT investments, and IT-driven innovation.

Shankar has led successful transformation programs with Fortune 500 clients in the Americas and Asia, working across various types of complex IT transformation programs, such as AI-based process automation, outsourcing & service delivery operations, landscape optimization, package implementation (SAP), mergers & acquisitions, SOA-based composite application development, MDM, and more. He has also worked across multiple industries like manufacturing, high technology, retail and consumer goods, aerospace, financial services, energy & utilities, etc.
