Dmitriy Ryaboy is a seasoned software engineer and respected leader in the tech industry. Armed with a MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, he has worked in various roles at tech companies, including Twitter and Zymergen, Inc. At Zymergen, Ryaboy is currently serving as the Vice President of Software Engineering, where he is helping to pioneer novel materials through biology, using robotics and software. He is also an advisor at PicnicHealth and has authored several books, including "The Missing Readme."

Throughout his career, Ryaboy has demonstrated his skill in managing and leading growing teams of engineers, writing quality software code, and developing sophisticated systems like Hadoop, Parquet, and Scalding. As a former Apache Pig committer, he has in-depth expertise in writing efficient data processing pipelines.
