Sam Walker is a Journalism graduate from The University of Queensland with a background in photography, who has dedicated his life's work to storytelling, creative development, capacity building, critical thinking, communication, planning, and leadership. His passion for highlighting the best of humanity and building stronger communities reflects in his work at Spean Chivit Youth Resource Center – an initiative that aims to help young adults realize their potential while providing them access to life skills and education.

Sam's experience in journalism and photography has helped him draw out stories that matter and create meaningful workshops that cater to different audiences. He's also held communications and fundraising roles at New Hope Cambodia, Volunteer Building Cambodia, and BoysTown, where his expertise in PR, marketing, events management, and social media was evident. As a former tutor at the University of Queensland, he has a knack for teaching, and as a public relations officer at Caloundra City Council, he's honed his skills in content creation and brand management.
