Geraldine Woods is a renowned author and educator with over four decades of experience in teaching and writing. Her expertise in English and Language Arts education is unparalleled, having taught at every level from grades 5 through AP English and directed the Independent Study Program at the Horace Mann School. With over 50 published books, many in the popular Dummies series, she has become a sought-after writer and editor in publishing, most recently working at WW Norton. Woods holds a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and English from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and has studied at New York University. She now focuses solely on writing and has a new book, "25 Great Sentences and How They Got That Way," set to be published in 2020 by WW Norton.
