Alessandro Perilli is a strategic thinker and Senior Director of Automation Strategy at Red Hat. With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Perilli has made a name for himself as an expert on emerging technologies and innovative approaches to hybrid cloud management. He has been a member of the Products & Technologies leadership team and contributed to the 20x ARR growth of Red Hat's Automation BU since 2016. Perilli has strong thought leadership on a variety of topics such as machine learning, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and IT automation. He is known for his expertise in enterprise IT governance and security orchestration, topics that are increasingly in demand in today's constantly evolving tech landscape.

After graduating from Liceo Scientifico Blaise Pascal, Perilli earned a law degree from La Sapienza, where he also studied data intelligence and strategic decision-making. He started his career as a trainer and conference speaker at EIDOS and Mondadori Informatica Education S.p.A. Later, he founded virtualization.info and served as its Chief Product Officer. He also worked as a CTO at Antares I.T. S.p.A., a Research Director at Gartner, and held several roles at Red Hat, including Senior Director of Management Strategy and General Manager of Open Hybrid Cloud.

Perilli is an Advisory Board Member at HORIZON CLOUD, and a former founder of H+. He has participated in various conferences, published books, and received numerous awards throughout his career.
