Jake Burdess is a highly experienced and talented experience design consultant with more than twenty years of experience in the industry. He has worked with high-profile clients across three continents, providing design strategy and digital transformation solutions that have helped these companies to enhance their customer experience.

After spending five years as the director of his design consulting firm in Spain, Jake moved to New Zealand and founded Heroic, an experience design platform that connects designers with organizations requiring remote or local UX and product design support. Through projects, structured sprints, or ongoing engagement, Heroic helps companies solve design problems and improve their customer experience.

Jake graduated with a degree in Contemporary Arts from Nottingham Trent University and also took a course in Music Industry Studies at The Square Centre. He has held different roles, including Design Lead at Napster, Senior Product Design Consultant at Toptal, UX Strategist at Laybuy, UX Lead at KiwiRail, User Experience Consultant at ASB Bank, and Head of Design at Unified Inbox. He has also served as Digital Director at Voice Brand Agency, UI Design Manager at Datacom, UX & Brand Manager at Imarda Ltd, and Product Design Consultant at chnnl.
