Marcelo Lopez is a seasoned software engineering leader with a passion for leadership through service. He has worked across various industries and organizations as a software engineer, technical manager, and agile coach. He has also mentored and encouraged new engineers to help develop the leaders of tomorrow. Lopez holds a BSCS and a Masters's degree in Computer Science from Florida International University.

Lopez's expertise lies in solving problems by thinking of solutions outside the norm. He has honed his skills by working in various roles throughout his career, from software engineer to technical manager to agile coach. He has a special interest in enterprise agile coaching and has held positions such as Enterprise Agile Agency Coach at BankUnited and Agile Coach and Trainer at Transformation Experts and 3Back LLC. He has also been a Technical Group Lead and Product Owner at Beckman Coulter, Sr. Project Manager at the University of Miami, and a Software Architect at SafetyPay USA.
