Fabio Sbianchi

Fabio Sbianchi is a renowned entrepreneur, industry visionary, and leader in the auto insurance telematics industry. He founded Octo Telematics in Italy in 2002, and since then, the company has become the global leader in telematics and data analytics solutions for the auto insurance industry. Sbianchi's innovative mind invented the auto insurance telematics industry, which helps insurers more accurately assess and price risk. Octo Telematics currently has over 5 million connected users worldwide and a vast database of more than 170 billion miles of driving data.

Sbianchi's impressive leadership skills have driven Octo Telematics' global strategy, and he is responsible for the company's business vision. In May 2010, he was appointed as CEO of the company when Montezemolo & Partners SGR gained control through Fondo Charme. He led the company's expansion into the UK and US markets in 2011 and moved Octo's headquarters to London in May 2015. Following Renova Group's acquisition in 2014, he successfully maintained his position as CEO.

Sbianchi is a graduate of La Sapienza University, where he studied Political Science. Before founding Octo Telematics, he founded the telecommunications company Tecnicom and was a former COO and CIO at Viasat Group S.p.A.
