Gigi Jackson is an accomplished software engineer with a diverse background in automation, systems engineering, devops/SRE, test automation, technical project management, and customer service. With degrees in both computer science and biology, Gigi brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work. Her career has taken her from tech giants like Jive Software and RSA to innovative startups like Crushpath and Zymergen, where she currently serves as Staff Software Engineer, SRE.

Gigi is a problem solver at heart, bringing her considerable technical knowledge to bear in roles ranging from field engineer to Director of Quality Engineering. She has a particular talent for working behind the scenes to make sure software products operate smoothly in the real world, freeing up developers to focus on new features and ensuring a delightful user experience.

With a Certificate in biotechnology lab work from Shoreline Community College, Gigi also brings hands-on experience to the technical realm. This diverse set of skills has allowed her to contribute to scientific research at the Institute for Systems Biology, as well as to transition smoothly from software engineering to line cook and back again.
