My mission as the Head of HR Data Science is to drive business impact through strategy, data science, and storytelling. I seek artists, writers, dancers, musicians and other creatives with interest in data science to reimagine how we deliver insights to our leaders. We drive success by constantly broadening our community of contributors and seeking inspiration wherever it may be found.

Starting with a small group of report writers I grew this team into a global analytics and automation function. Under my leadership the team invented KPIs, developed decision support tools, and created forecasts used heavily by leadership.

I was directly responsible for developing and executing the Talent Acquisition technology roadmap, creating a new Innovation Lab for rapidly deploying new technologies and the successful implementation of an AI system for accelerating recruiters' work. To realize this industry-leading strategy I worked directly with the CEOs and product teams of our partners to align their product roadmaps with our needs. I was honored to have several opportunities to share this work both at conferences and on industry podcasts.

Analytics and Automation Director

As a data scientist in Talent Acquisition it was my role to become intimately familiar with the business of recruiting and Intel's strategic objectives. Re-imagining the way we could forecast, I focused on rapid decision making rather than unnecessarily complex algorithms. I built an interactive dashboard for resource planning, used topic modeling to map demand for skills across Intel globally, and developed a practical usage model for data science in Talent Acquisition. This model would later become the core of the technology roadmap and strategic goals of the organization.

Managed the Talent Acquisition program for Intel’s global manufacturing efforts. Developed the strategy to meet hiring needs in the US, Europe, and Asia. Evangelized and drove the implementation of methods to promote diversity hiring.

At Intel’s Portland Technology Development we are Moore’s Law. As a physicist, my primary responsibility was to invent new plasma etching techniques that enabled a robust silicon technology. I made significant contributions to the 22nm, 14nm, and 10nm technologies through design of experiments, process design, and analytics.

Research And Development Engineer

I specialized in non-linear optics and data science. My projects included a coherent anti-stokes raman spectroscopy (CARS) microscope and classifying human tissues based on optical spectra.

Researcher, PHD Candidate

I developed, maintained, and installed a compact soft X-ray spectrometer for analyzing plasma production in the Z Machine, the large Z-Pinch facility located at Sandia. The Z-Pinch is an approach to fusion energy that could unlock efficient, clean energy.
