Aramael Pena-Alcantara, a PhD candidate at MIT in Civil and Environmental Engineering, has a rich educational background with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Drama and Theatre Arts, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. As a Construction Project Manager at Pena-Alcantara Consultants, Aramael has gained invaluable experience managing large-scale construction projects. As a former Research Assistant at MIT, Aramael contributed to the development of engagement-oriented safety training, which they continue to investigate as part of their doctoral thesis.

Their past internships at Walt Disney Imagineering allowed Aramael to gain valuable skills in show programming, and they have continued to build their expertise as the Lead Web Developer at IvyQ.
